Frequently asked questions

Who is Discalia for?

For anyone living with a herniated disc, a bulging disc or back pain who wants to move more freely without making the injury worse. Your plan is built from your diagnosis and your activity level, and it starts with gentle 5-minute routines that anyone can finish, however you happen to feel today. No machines, no gym and no previous experience: just guided consistency, one day at a time.

Does it replace my doctor or physical therapist?

No. Discalia is a tool to support healthy habits and it does not give medical advice. Always check with a healthcare professional before you start, and use the app as a companion between appointments.

How much time do I need each day?

About 5 minutes. The daily routine has only a few exercises, each with a video and a timer, so that staying consistent is easy even on busy days.

Is it free?

The app is free: daily routine, pain tracking, hydration and a selection of articles. Discalia Premium unlocks all the content and your full history, with a monthly or annual subscription managed by the App Store.

What happens to my data?

Your data is stored encrypted on servers in the European Union, and it is never sold or shared for advertising. You can export it or delete your account from inside the app. There is more detail in the privacy policy.

Where can I download it?

Discalia is available now on the App Store for iPhone, and it is free to download. That is the only platform for now: we do not promise dates for ones we have not committed to.
